Dr. Jennifer Walden has been a true innovator in the world of plastic surgery. She began her journey to practice in Austin, Texas where she graduated from Anderson High School and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas. Walden was initially waitlisted to the medical program at the University of Texas Medical Branch, but she ended up graduating with the second highest academic rating in her class. She completed her residency at the University of Texas and went on to find a fellowship and career at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. She’s now the creator and head of Jennifer L. Walden, M.D., PLLC as well as Walden Cosmetic Surgery Center, PLLC.
Throughout her career, Walden has also published numerous journal articles that have brought positive change to the cosmetic surgery community. These articles have shown up in renowned publications like Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Annals of Plastic Surgery, and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
In 2014, Walden’s unique talent was acknowledged when Harper’s Bazaar classified her as one of the top 24 best cosmetic surgeons. American Way awarded her with a similar title by listing her among the few of “The Best Plastic Surgeons in America.” She has made unprecedented gains in her field through her innovative, open-minded approach to cosmetic surgery. She orchestrated the development of new technology involved in breast surgery which has led to unmatched results adored by patients. Other cutting-edge technologies Walden uses are the Thermi-Via, a radio-frequency vaginal repair system, and the Vectra, a groundbreaking 3D imaging system. Outside of her own practice, she consults with companies in aesthetics to help them improve their products. A few of these companies are Venus Concept, Sitcon Inc., and ThermiAesthetics.
